Yayyy! I'm so happy to be back in CA for 2 whole weeks!! Mommy, Grandma and I drove out from Phoenix to housesit for Aunt Linda (Grandma's sister), while they are in Australia and New Zealand! We arrived just in time for the 4th of July... Literally just a couple of hours before the fireworks. So in the hustle and bustle of getting unpacked and settled in, mommy didn't take in 4 of July pics of me! :-/ I know, shocking right?! But even though I wa.s tired from the drive out, I certainly made sure I stayed awake for my first firework show! Jeremy came over, and we all watched the fireworks go off right in the Back Bay. My favorites were the sparklers that a bunch of older kids were setting off on the basketball courts right next to us...Those ones didn't make loud, scary noises and were so sparkly!

Here's me getting all clean after our long 6 hour drive! It's my very first time in a big boy bath without my whale tub! It's so nice and roomy--I like it!

The next day, we went up to Corona del Mar and met Jeremy on his lunch break for a beautiful picnic lunch!

After our picnic lunch, mommy and I made good use out of Aunt Linda's hammock in the backyard! We played, snuggled, and then finally fell asleep for a nice afternoon nap in the California breeze. We layed out there for a good 2 hours when the sprinklers finally came on and woke us up! Nothin like some cold water on your tushy to get ya movin!!

Out and about in Laguna Beach!
We originally made the trip to Laguna to take a "mommy and me" yoga class like we do back home that mommy found online...We spent several minutes trying to find the yoga studio, only to discover that we were standing right in it...Well, what was once a yoga studio, but had since been converted into a bike shop! Nice mom! You might wanna try calling ahead next time! Just a thought! ;)
