My 7th month has flown by and today is my 8th month birthday! Only 4 more months until I am 1! Wow! It has gone by SO fast!! Mommy better get moving with the party plannning!!! ;) Last week I was having some eating problems (which have since been resolved, thank goodness!) and had to go to the Doctor where they weighed me in at 19 pounds, 1 ounce right in the 50th percentile! Maybe now that I got my appetite back to normal I'll start putting the pounds on!
This month was really fun because we got to get out of this yucky hot weather and go back to CA for 2 weeks! While we were in AZ though, we made the best of it and did our weekly swim lessons, mommy and me Yoga, Story time, and Rythm and Ryhme Time at the library, plus lots more I can't think of right now!
Oh yea! Did I forget to mention that I'm now mobile?! That's right!! I'm not "crawling" in the traditional sense, but I am army crawling, slithering around on my belly, and it definitely gets me where I want to go! I also mastered taking myself from a sitting position to down onto my belly in 2 seconds flat! But my most favorite new trick is climbing off the couch and then standing while I hold onto it for balance. Then I try and let go and move over to the table...It makes mommy a little nervous, but it makes me feel like such a big man! I always look over at my mommy, Grandma, or whoever else is in the room to make sure they're watching me!
Oh! And mommy's favorite thing I learned this month?? I learned how to give kisses!! I open my mouth real wide and lean in for a kiss if you ask me nicely! I'll make sure mommy posts a video of me doing it, because it really is one of the cutest things ever!:)
