Playdates, Ceiling Fans and Baby Babbles! Oh My! -My 8th week

This week I enjoyed lots of outtings!  We went to Barrett Jackson, went on a Meetup/Playdate, visited some of mommy's friends, and I even tagged along on a dinner date with mommy!  What can I say, my mom doesn't like to be without me!  One night though she had to leave to go babysit for some other kids to earn some $, so I spent the evening with my Grandparents!  We went on a 3 mile walk, ate dinner together and then watched Baby Songs...I had lots of fun keeping them up until 1 in the morning!  Uh oh! ;)

I also figured out where my hands were, and since then I have not been able to stop putting them in my mouth!  Now when my pacifier falls out, I have a backup!  Oh yea, and I'm drooling alot more...(hey, every little milestone counts)!  Mommy wonders if I'm a puppy or a baby sometimes! ;)

Mommy's friend from high school, Jordan really enjoyed holding me!  I like when he rubbed my belly but I think my eyes were glued to the bottle sitting on the table!

 Mommy took me with her to her friend Heather's house to get her hair done. (Brunette wasn't a good look for her afterall-I prefer a blonde mommy) ;)  While getting my diaper changed I made a miraculous discovery--THE CEILING FAN!!!  I was fasinated by it!  Then mommy and her friend turned in on and Oh my!  I could not take my eyes off the spinning fan on the ceiling...I stared at it for a good 45 minutes in utter amazement!

Who needs a mobile when there's a ceiling fan to look at?!

I discovered this cool thing in my mouth called I tongue this week!  I practiced sticking it out and look really cute doing it!

I am getting SO vocal!  I love taking turns "talking" with mommy...we went back and forth for several minutes!  My favorite phrases are "Ah-Gooo" and "Ah-Woo!"

I might be 8 weeks old, but I have no problem carrying on a conversation!

I like laughing at silly faces!  Mommy's pretty funny, but Grandpa makes the best ones!

Happy 2 month Birthday to the sweetest baby in town!!!

Grandma got mommy a Groupon for a portrait session at JCPennys...it just so happened to expire the day after my 2 month birthday, so we were able to get some adorable pictures to celebrate how big I'm getting!  Here's a sneak peak at one of the portraits we ordered!
