Baby's First Easter!!

Happy Easter!!!

I had an awesome time meeting the Easter bunny at the mall!  He was so soft and snuggly, I was full of smiles while sitting on his lap!!

Since it was my first Easter, and we wanted it to be extra special, I got to go with my family on my first road trip!!  We went down to Tucson and met up with Uncle Cody at the J.W. Marriott Star Pass Resort and Spa for the weekend!! We had such a great time, we've decided to make it an Easter tradition!!

FRIDAY

Just arrived and getting settled in our room I shared with Grandma and mommy.

SATURDAY

The Easter bunny was flown in by helicopter!!!!  Mommy and Grandma watched from the balcony in our room while I slept in!

Since I slept in so late, by the time we made it downstairs the Easter Bunny was done taking pictures....but we trapsed around the hotel until we found him...and got our picture!!

It was starting to get a little warm, so we took a break and went inside for some storytime with Mother Goose!

After my morning nap, we headed back outside for some more poolside fun!!

SUNDAY--Easter!!!

Yummy, Yummy Rice Cereal!!!

My first time Eating Solids!!!

 One Sunday night I was sitting next to mommy during dinner, moving my mouth around non stop, and following every single bite of food that she put in her mouth with my eyes.  I hear mommy and Grandma talking and the next thing I know, mommy got up from the table and whipped up a tiny bowl of rice cereal mixed with a little bit of breast milk for me to try!!  I was verrrrry excited!!!  Technically I am only 4 and a half months old and not supposed to start eating solids until I am 6 months old (per Dr. Schwartz's instructions). But I am a big boy and just sooo interested in what's going on with the big people at the dinner table that mommy said it would be ok to bend this rule!

All in all I'd say it was a successful first attempt at solids! (Even though I ended up wearing most of it!) ;)
We're going to keep practicing with rice cereal 2-3 times a week until I get to be 6 months old and get the ok from the Doctor to go ahead with more!  Mommy was so proud of me, she went out and bought me a Baby Brezza...which is the most awesome Baby food cooker ever invented!  Mommy said she wants me to eat organic baby food that she makes, but since she's not too saavy in the kitchen, the Baby Brezza will really help out!  It steams, purees and even defrosts homemade babyfood all in a few simple steps! We still have a little while before I get to try that out but it's all ready for me when I do!!

After growing tired of being put in my swing or Jumperoo everytime my family ate dinner, mommy decided I was ready to join everyone at the table in my own special chair!

Rainy Sunday

It was pouring rain on Sunday!  So after church we came home and got back into our jammies to snuggle on the couch, relax and listen to the rain!

Mom and baby Sweats n Slippers!  My adorable new penguin sockies from The Bryants!  (After a couple days of wearing these, I found my feet!!  Now I cannot stop grabbing my feeties!  They are my new favorite playthings!)

We went on a Playdate to Caleb's house!  At almost a year old, he's a bit older than me...which meant he had some super cool toys to play with!!

I loved his Little Tikes swing!  So much in fact, that mommy and I went to Target and bought one a week later!! ;)

Poolside Cabana Time at the Pointe Tapatio Cliffs!

It was so sweet of my girlfriend, Sabrina and her mommy to invite us to the resort they were staying at to enjoy a cabana by the pool with them!  What a fun way to celebrate my 4 month old birthday today!!



It took our mommies a while to gather all our baby gear, but we finally made it downstairs to the cabana!  We're two little peas in a pod!
